The Matriarchy Mania
Why is everything worse in Iceland – the West’s Valkyriemostest dreamland?
Residents of Western societies have, for decades, been led to believe that they live in a patriarchy, which is supposedly the root of all evil. The reality, however, is that we live in a matriarchy. This is bad news, because there are no examples of long-lasting matriarchies in human history. This is perhaps not surprising, as societies require governance and leaders with leadership qualities, which are masculine traits.
This does not mean that women cannot be leaders or possess leadership qualities, but these are not feminine traits. Leadership qualities involve the ability to govern and make major decisions affecting large groups of people in a manner characterized by decisiveness, insight, steadfastness, realism, and, in some cases, ruthlessness, firmness, and aggression, with an emphasis on improving the conditions of the group rather than sympathy for the individual.
Feminine governance is the opposite of this. The priority here is the protection of the individual, the child, at the expense of the group, and the governance process involves discussing—not debating (discussion without arguments is not debate)—issues with personal anecdotes, dreams, and emotions, rather than with logic, facts, and reality.
Society has swallowed the feminist lie that masculinity is inherently toxic, that there is no such thing as good masculinity, only toxic masculinity. On the other hand, everything feminine is supposed to be inherently good. If we feminize society and its institutions, everything will surely become good, right?
More than half of university students—in medicine, law, and business—are women (in Iceland, 65%). Most teachers are women (in Iceland, 82%). A significant number of women work in law enforcement, firefighting, and militaries around the world. Never before have so many women held top positions of influence and power in politics and business.
And what is the result of all this equality? Is life better now than it was 25 years ago? Is society safer? More productive? Less costly? Since the turn of the millennium, real estate prices in Iceland have risen by nearly 700%. An apartment that cost ten million krónur then costs nearly 80 million today. A liter of gasoline, which costs 328 krónur today, cost 78 krónur then. Is our mental health better? Icelanders hold the world record for antidepressant consumption, and their use has more than doubled since the turn of the millennium. Compared to other European nations, depression is worst in Iceland; 16% of Icelanders report suffering from “chronic depression,” and the majority of Icelandic mothers say they have “experienced burnout at work.”
Why is everything worse in Iceland – the West’s Valkyriemostest dreamland?
Perhaps one of the reasons is that when masculinity and traditional masculine qualities—even the words themselves, like manliness, honor, physical strength, courage, and integrity—are vilified and rejected, a vacuum is left that women are physically and mentally incapable of filling on a large scale and long term and still maintain their health. On top of that, we have eradicated “the four cardinal virtues” that our ancestors, according to our Icelandic Sagas, believed should characterize every decent person: wisdom, justice, humility… strength.
It is no more natural for men than for women to suppress their masculine qualities and submit to women en masse. Progress and productivity are the roles of men. When they are kicked down into their parents’ basements at thirty years old and forbidden from utilizing their masculine qualities, the result is what Iceland has become: a society driven by emotions, dreams, and codependency instead of realism, judgment, and courage.
Throughout history, men have faced death in wars, in mining treasures from the bowels of the earth, searched for fuel in the ocean’s darkest depths. Women make sacrifices for their offspring and family. Men make sacrifices for societies. Women are not—and should not—do that. Sending women to the front lines of battles and onto the streets of major cities to deal with drunken lunatics wielding weapons—with what? Their words and negotiation skills? This death sentence for women on the altar of feminism is a perversion.
Everyone remembers the news photographs from the first assassination attempt on U.S. President Trump last year. What did the female Secret Service agents, tasked with protecting him, do right after the bullet whizzed past his ear? They crouched and took cover behind the President. This is not criticism; these were simply natural, feminine responses to danger. It was also a reality check from reality itself: neither training nor political propaganda can outmatch me.
We have allowed feminine, reactive emotionalism to run rampant across all areas of society for years. How long are we going to pretend that life is fine in this virtual reality?
I've been reading you over a long period and really welcome that you've started writing more frequently recently. I am also a Euro living in the Anglosphere (Australia) and am aghast at what the previously to-aspire-to Scandinavians have done to their nations.
Internalized misogyny is ugly.
